INGREDIENTS:

- Rice-2 cups
- Moongdal/pesar pappu-1 cup
- Ghee-3 tablespoons
- Sugar-1/4 Th teaspoon
- Chopped ginger-1/2 teaspoon
- Cashewnuts fried-1 tablespoon
- Jeera powder-1/4Th teaspoon
- Salt-to taste
- Pepper/miriyalu-8
- Pepper powder-1/8Th teaspoon
- Jeera-2 spoons
METHOD:
- Cook rice and moongdal together by adding 6 1/2 cups of water,add more if u want more liquid consistency.,when water starts boiling,take 1 cup from that and keep a side,then cook rice for 15 minutes on low flame.
- Now take a deep bottomed pan,add ghee,when it heats add pepper,jeera,ginger,cashews,jeera powder and pepper powder.,fry well,now add the 1 cup of water which we put a side,now add the rice,and salt ,cook for few minutes.Serve hot.
