MOST OF THEM THINK NON VEGETARIAN FOOD GIVES MORE BENEFITS TO THE BODY,BUT THE FACT IS VEGETARIAN FOOD MAKES US LIVING MORE HEALTHIER,PROPER UTILIZATION OF FRUITS AND VEGETABLES HELPS TO MAINTAIN GOOD HEALTH.AS A WOMEN WE NO WHAT TO COOK IN THE KITCHEN ,BUT LOT OF US HAS LACK OF KNOWLEDGE OF NUTRITIONAL CONTENT IN THE VEGETABLES AND THE FRUITS,SO HERE AFTER WE WILL TRY TO KNOW AND SHARE WITH OTHERS AND MAKE EVERY ONE HEALTHIER.

NOW A DAYS MOST OF THEM ARE FACING COMMON PROBLEMS LIKE DRYING OF SKIN AND HAIR,PIMPLES,ALLERGIES, AND B.P..... IF WE FACE MORE OF THIS PROBLEMS,THEN CONCENTRATE ON EATING FOOD WHICH HAS "FATTY ACIDS"!IT HELPS IN CELL ACTIVATION, KEEPS NERVOUS SYSTEM HEALTHY, HELPS IN PROPER FUNCTIONING OF THE BRAIN, BALANCES HARMON AL LEVEL ,MAINTAINS SOFTNESS OF THE SKIN, ACTIVATES CELLS IN THE BRAIN, AND ALSO ACTIVATES NEURO TRANS METERS,SO FATTY ACIDS ARE AVAILABLE IN

WALL NUTS, TUNA FISH, PUMPKIN SEEDS,SUNFLOWER SEEDS, OLIVE OIL,SESAME SEEDS,

  • VITAMIN B1 - CHICKPEAS ,SOYBEANS
  • VITAMIN B2-ALMOND,COTTAGE CHEESE,MUSHROOMS,
  • VITAMIN C- BROCCOLI,CABBAGE ,TOMATO , SPINACH ,POTATO ,LIME
  • ZINC - EGG YOLK, MILK, OYSTERS ,STRESS,

WHEN THERE IS A PROBLEM OF INCREASE OR DECREASE IN SUGAR LEVELS IN THE BODY,,DUE TO THIS WE FEEL STRESS ,FRUSTRATION ,SWEET EATING SICKNESS,HEAD ACHE,INCREASE IN APPETITE ,HEART BURNS.TO AVOID THIS FOLLOW SOME TIPS LIKE

  • ADD WATER TO FRUIT AND VEGETABLE JUICES,
  • EAT 5 OR 6 TIMES RATHER TAKING ONE MAJOR MEAL
  • TAKE MORE FOOD RELATED TO FIBRE

PROBLEM : OVER EATING ,AN LOSS OF CONTROL ON EATING..EVEN NOT HUNGRY YOU MAY EAT MORE, FEEL FRUSTRATION,.. KIND OF ILL HEATH,LOT OF CASES OF THIS PROBLEM ARE SEEN IN WOMEN.THE MAIN REASON OF THIS IS DUE TO OVER STRAIN ,LONELYNESS ,

REMEDY:STOP EATING IMMEDIATELY PROCESSED FOOD.EAT FRUITS WHICH CONTAIN FIBRE, AND EAT MORE VEGETABLES

EFFECT OF PROCESSING ON NUTRITIVE VALUES OF FOODS

  1. The loss of nutrients on cooking depends upon temperature duration of cooking and the nutrient.
  2. Ordinary cooking causes little loss of protein fat or carbohydrates in cereals, pulses and meat.
  3. Proteins may be lost if they are cooked in salt water.
  4. don't throw away stalk water as they contain minerals like sodium,potassium and calcium,you can use them for preparing soups,or adding to flour while making dough.Cook the root vegetables with skin and peal before using.
  5. Cutting the vegetables into small pieces and exposing them to air before cooking may result in loss of vitamin C.
  6. So always chop into large pieces,and place them in boiled water,then cook for very short period.
  7. Steaming prevents losses due to leaching.
  8. Avoid repeated washing of rice before cooking,and use less water.
  9. Always cook the vegetables with minimum amount of water ,and cover the vessel with a lid.
  10. Avoid reheating.

BRIEF NOTE ON DIET AND NUTRITION

EAT HEALTHY
Hello Friends today i want to discuss briefly about nutrition, and its importance and fatty food and its harm ness: in day to day life activities,nutrition plays a prominent role ,the basic idea of posting this issue is we all should know some points regarding nutrition.As a homemaker we all got responsibility to keep watch on our family members about their health.
Not only the cooking method,but we should also know nutritive values of food,their energy levels in the food and their nutritive content,Today the burning problem is "OBESITY" i.e., excess body gain weight,we should think about this.Not only the Elders,but even the kids are facing this problem.Main reason for this problem is eating excess unknowingly, and loss of control on the weight on body,
so in order to get rid of this problem is to think wise before cooking, about"what the ingredients we are adding" and"think whether we get any benefit for the body if we add this condiment".

One of the main reason for gaining weight is eating fast food which includes high calorie food,fat food(saturated fat,trans fat)3o% of calories in the basic healthy diet are fat,only 10% of this is saturated fat.
Saturated fat predominates in fat on meat,poultry eggs,milk,cheese,yogurt,butter,and drippings

Is also found in many vegetable oils,soft margarine's,fatty fish,nuts and seeds,whole grain cereals and some vegetables and legumes.
"As u eat less saturated fat,the proportion of this in your diet automatically increases,this is good and medically helpful" etc.,So we always should avoid eating food which contains saturated fat

Advice for reducing day to day consumption of fat in your routine
  1. Avoid buying high fat foods
  2. Prepare food wisely
  3. Minimise your fat intake as u eat
  4. Check Ur vitamins
  5. Be a creative cook
  6. Eat healthy food,stop taking dietary supplements
