INGRREDIENTS:

- Yellow split peas-1 cup
- Hot water-3 cups
- Chopped ginger-1 1/2 teaspoon
- Chopped green chili's-2
- all purpose flour-2 tablespoons
- Salt-to taste
- Chopped red onion/shallots-1/2 cup
- Roasted cashews/kaju-1/2 cup
- Dried curry leaves-12
- Oil-for deep frying
METHOD
Soak peas in water for 3 hours,drain the water,now to this peas,add ginger,chili's,flour,salt,water.Grind smoothly .
Mixture should not be neither too coarse,nor too smooth,it should be of medium consistency,add remaining ingredients and deep fry in oil.
Serve hot.
