SPICY CUTMIRCHI

Cutmirchi is one of the popular evening snack item sold by street vendors,these are snacks especially can be enjoyed on rainy days.Now a days making snack items at home is more common and healthy.
The chili fritters when fried are cut into pieces and once again deep fried so the name called as cut mirchi,which is served by garnishing a special masala called Bodhgari Masala and raw onons and lemon juice.The recipe as follows.

INGREDIENTS:

  1. Green chilis-10
  2. Chik pea flour/gram flour/besan/chenagapindi-1 cup
  3. Rice flour-2 1/2 teaspoons
  4. Red chili powder-1/4 th teaspoon
  5. Salt-to taste
  6. Cumin seeds-1/2 teaspoon
  7. Soda-1/8 th teaspoon
  8. Choped onions-3 tablespoons
  9. Lime-1

FOR MASALA:

  1. Roasted Dhaniya powder-1/2 teaspoon
  2. Roasted Cumin powder-1/4Th teaspoon
  3. Redchili powder-1/4Th teaspoon
  4. Salt-to taste

Jusi mix all the ingredients and set a side



METHOD:

  1. Mix the batter and set a side.
  2. Now take the chili's and slit in the middle
  3. TIP: If the chili's are more hot,boil in water by adding little salt,and drain the water.
  4. Now dip the chili's in the batter and fry until golden brown
  5. Now cut these fritters/bhaji in small as shown in figure
  6. Once again deep fry until crispy
  7. Now place them on a plate
  8. Sprinkle masala according to your choice
  9. Add some lime juice and garnish with onion
  10. Serve hot
