Beetroot is an excellent source of calcium(ca), Vitamin A and rich in Iron(Fe).Today most of them are anemic i.e less haemoglobin level in the body, mostly Women,as we need more health care during pregnancy and also to regulate menstuals problems we need to take Iron sufficient food sources like leafy veggies and some of vegetables likebeetroot.Offcourse dry fruits are also rich in Iron especially Anjoor(Dry figs), prefer to eat anjur fruit if you are pregnant .Try to eat atleast 1 cup of beetroot in your daily diet in any form ,chances of improving blood is more in beets as it a rich source of Iron.

  1. Boiled beets-2
  2. Oil-4 spoons
  3. Salt-to taste
  4. Green chilis-2 to 4
  5. Dry roasted peanuts-2 teaspoons
  6. Dry roasted coconut-2 teaspoons
  7. Dry roasted dhaniya-1 teaspoon
  8. Cilantro-1 teaspoon
  9. Cumin-1 teaspoon

  1. Chop boiled beets and keep a side.
  2. Grind the roasted ingredients to a fine powder
  3. Roast green chilis and grind to a fine paste,and mix along with masala powder and some water
  4. Heat oil in a pan ,add cumin seeds,then add the masala paste.
  5. When masala cooks well add the chopped beets, salt ,cook until done
  6. Garnish with cilantro and serve along with rice
