INGREDIENTS:
- Spinach paste-1 cup(blend leaves to fine paste with little water)
- Rice flour-3 cups
- Water (should be very hot) -1 cup
- Sesame seeds-1 cup
- Green chili paste-1 tbs
- Chopped cilantro-1/2 cup
- Soaked chenadal-3tbs
- Soaked moong dal-2 tbs
- salt-to taste
- Hing-3 pinches
- Oil-for deep frying

- combine all ingredients and make fine dough add water if necessary while mixing the dough
- Divide the dough into small lemon size portions
- Press each dough ball in the tortilla maker by placing between the greased ziplock cover
- gently press and place each tortilla in oil and fry till done
- Repeat the same process for remaining balls
- Remove from oil and sprinkle chat masala and black salt when hot
- Cool the chekkalu and store in a air tight container
- tasty chekkalu are ready to serve
- If you are in diet control you can also fry them on tawa with a tea spoon of oil as you make the regular parathas
