INGREDIENTS FOR KOBBARI ANNAM( COCONUT RICE)

- Rice-2 cups
- Chopped ginger pieces-1 table spoon
- Thick coconut milk-1 1/2 cup
- Water-2 cups
- Fresh grated coconut/copra-3 table spoons
- Butter-1 table spoon
- Cumin-1/2 teaspoon
- Mustard seeds-1/2 teaspoons
- Split urad dal-1 table spoon
- Chenadal-1/2 table spoon
- Peanuts-3 table spoons
- Dry red chilis-6
- Curry leaves-10

- Cook rice with ginger pieces, cocont milk and water
- Heat ghee in a pan and make seasonig,now add fresh grated coconut
- Fry well and add to rice along with salt.

- Powdered Jaggery-1 cup
- Milk-1 cup
- Butter-1 table spoon
- Roasted dry fruits-2 table spoons
- Cardamom powder-1/4Th teaspoon

- Cook rice with 5 cups of water
- Add jaggery and milk,cook for 10 minutes on medium- low flame
- Now add the dry fruits and ilaichi powder
