DOSA BATTER: Rice- 2 1/2 cups
Urad dal/minappappu-1 cup
Fenugreek seeds/menthulu-1/2 teaspoon

Soak rice,urad dal and fenugreek seeds in water for 6 hours,then grind to a fine batter, add salt to the batter and mix well,allow to ferment for 8 hrs.Now the batter will be ready to make dosa's.

MASALA: chopped onion-1 no
tamarind paste-1/2 spoon to one spoon
red chili powder-1 tea spoon
turmeric-a pinch
salt-to taste
METHOD: Grind all the ingredients coarsely ,not much

ALU CURRY: Boiled potatoes-2
onions-2 table spoons
slitted green chillis-3
cilantro-2 teaspoons
turmeric-1/8 th teaspoon
ginger garlic paste-1/2 teaspoon
salt-to taste
cumin seeds-1/4 th teaspoon
mustard seeds-1/4 th teaspoon
urad dal-1/2 tea spoon
chana dal-1/4 th teaspoon
curry leaves-1 string
oil-tea spoons

METHOD: Peal the skin of potato and make into fine make seasoning in a pan ,now add green chili's and onions,when onion gets fried ,add ginger garlic paste,stir well,when it cooks garnish with cilantro.


Take dosa pan and heat it,sprinkle some water all over pan,when the water evaporates,pour a ladleful of batter on the pan,spread in a circular motion as thin as possible,now spread masala all over the dosa,now add some ghee ,when the dosa roasts well ,put the curry in the middle,role the dosa like cylinder,put some butter on the top and serve hot.
