- Wheat bulgar/cracked wheat-1 1/2 cup
 - Green chilis chopped-2 table spoons
 - Chopped onion-1/2 cup
 - Medium carrot chopped-1
 - Medium potato diced into cubes-1/2 cup
 - Salt-to taste
 - Oil-1 table spoon
 - butter-1 teaspoon
 - crushed whole garam masala-1/2 teaspoon
 - cilantro-3 table spoons

- Soak cracked wheat in water for 2 hours
 - Heat oil and ghee in a pan and add chili's,fry well and add masalas then fry well
 - Now add ginger paste and onions,saute for 5 minutes
 - add veggies fry for 3 minutes
 - Now drain the water from wheat and press with hands
 - now add to the veggies and saute for 2minutes
 - Now add salt,3 cups water
 - cook until done,garnish with cilantro and serve with onion raitha
